does this display new articles added automatically

Hi there

I currently use mini-front page, which too be honest is not the best and I am looking for something to replace it.

Does this work in the same where, where it will automatically display all new articles added?

We are a news website and have about 40 different news sections - although we do not want all 4o sections showing on our homepage - just the latest 15 or so stories - will this module do this?

Yes, the module shows news automatically. You set ordering "newest first" and whenever fresh news appear, they will automatically appear in the module news block.
You decide yourself from how many section the news should appear.
