Regarding filter by extra field values. Do you mean adding another filter to the module backend (admin panel)?

Actually I would like you to develop a Search and Filter function for K2 which the user can use. Would be just perfect! Any comments on this.

You didn't clarify where you want this filter - on frontend or backend?
Because these are very different things. One more filter in backend might be considered.

Search and filtration functionality on frontend available for all site visitors is far from our module and requires developing a brand new module.
