This is perhaps the most serious update of the module All-mode K2 by the number of new features and their importance. Besides those, we have completely remade the built-in templates.
New features:
- External comment systems support:
JComments, JA Comment, Komento, CComment. - Date filtering
Item filtration by predefined filters: today, this week, this month, this year;
Display items from the specified time range;
Display items from the specified time period relative to the current date. - Support for three types of date
you can select which K2 item date the module should use:
created date, modification date or start publishing date - New localizations:
German localization, Spanish localization, French localization
Improved:
- Totally revamped built-in templates;
- Joomla 3.2 support;
- Special caching for random module output;
- MySQL cache 5 mins optimization;
- New parameter ($title_full) now available in module templates.

External Comment Systems Supported
In this module version we expanded support for comments systems. Besides the standard K2 comment system, the module now works with four other comment systems:

We'd like to drag your attention to the fact how our extension works with comments. You can not only display the number of comments for your news. Besides, you can use ordering by number of comments and create attractive news lists of the latests commented and the most commented items. There are numerous ways how you can use these options and we are sure your site will benefit much from that.
Filtrate K2 Items by Date
This amazing and incredibly useful feature allows you easily retrieve items from a specific date or date range. We did our best to provide filtering by date with many options. See what variants available:
Predefined Date Filters:
- today - select K2 items only for the current day;
- this week - select K2 items only for the current week;
- this month - select K2 items only for the current month;
- this year - select K2 items only for the current year.
Specify Date Range:
- start date - retrieve K2 items dated after the specified date.
- end date - retrieve K2 items dated before the specified date.
Note: it is not necessary to set both dates. If you specify only one of them, the module is still able to do the job. For example, if you set only start date (2014.01.01), RAXO All-mode K2 retrieves items from the period starting with this specified date and up to the current date.
Relative Date Range:
- from X days ago - start day of the range relative to the current day;
- to X days ago - end day of the range relative to the current day.
The main feature of the relative date range is that it doesn't use fixed calendar dates. The start and the end of this date range are tied to the current date. Since the current day moves forward with every new calendar day, relative date range also changes the same way.
