Supporting tags in joomla 3.1

Post by bb9 »

Hello,

I bought your module for joomla 2.5. There I missed only one feature - Tags.
I´m thinking about upgrading to joomla 3.1 where are natively implemented tags.
If I buy your module for joomla 3.0, does it support this feature your module?
If not are you planning to put it inside? I saw that your extension for K2 it can do that so it shouldn´t be so difficult.

Thank you.

Thank you for the good question.
Tags is a new Joomla feature, which we find to be very important. We are sure this feature will become very popular.

At the moment tag support is not implemented in the module, but we DEFINITELY will do that.

FYI, Joomla tags are much more complicated than K2 tags:
- nested tags with a parent tag and unlimited children;
- tags across content and extensions;
- access level for any tag;
- language support;
- etc.

So, implementing Joomla tags support is not an easy task as it might seem at first glance.

Hi,

As a few months have gone, could you please let me know if you have implementing support for Joomla 3 tags ?
Also, it would be really nice to see an actual demo rather than screenshots of the module .
Can the filtering be done on the website frontend, or is it just admin filtering

Best regards

No.
You can filtrate content items only in the backend (Module administration panel).
