Our modules use module templates for design purposes. At the moment there are 4 built-in templates, and 6 additional templates. So it's not correct to ask whether the module supports responsive design. In fact, this question must be addressed to each module template.

Built-in templates:
  • All-mode Bricks - fully responsive;
  • All-mode Columns - fully responsive;
  • All-mode Default - fully responsive;
  • All-mode List - fully responsive.
Additional templates:
  • All-mode Grid - responsive & very flexible;
  • All-mode Portal - responsive & very flexible;
  • All-mode Carousel - responsive;
  • All-mode Pagination - responsive;
  • All-mode Newsbreak - responsive;
  • All-mode Rational - responsive & very flexible.
Note: Thumbnails have fixed image size set in module administration panel.
So if you set big thumbnails it may impact responsiveness of the whole module block negatively.

Hello,
Are you planning to release a responsive version of the All-mode Portal template (if yes: when)?
Kind regards

Probably yes. When? We don't know.

"Responsive mode" is a very wide conception.
Could your explain what behaviour you expect from this template in "responsive mode"?

Thank you for the quick response.

Basically, the two (or maybe more) columns of the template should continuously get smaller/larger when the browser window gets smaller/larger. At some breaking point, the right column should slip under the left column. In any case, the width of the column(s) should continuously adapt to the space available (no fixed column width should be used because this would create "holes" in the website's layout).

The size of text and images should be adaptive as well - I think the most important point is that there are no non-adaptive images which could break a responsive website's layout.

Responsive design and Raxo template

Post by Skalp »

Hi,

I'm a Raxo all-mode fan (my website is totally developped with it). I am a "Column template" user but it is not responsive. I'm currently using it to display the games

What should I use instead ?

There are two options:
-You can use the templates that support responsive mode (see the overview from Admin above).
- You can create your own responsive template according to your task.
