Our modules do not yet support creating thumbnails for WebP images.
We are planning to implement such a feature.

In the meantime, the module can display such images in their original size.

Creating thumbnails is a very important feature... I don't think using the original size images is very helpful without thumbnails.

Do you think will it take too long to implement the WebP feature? A month? A year?

Yes, we are planning to add support for creating thumbnails for WebP images.

But I don't know yet how long it will take, so I can't say anything about the timing.
